Usage note:
- This dataset is used to build a local
volcanic-geothermalbiome overlay for selected countries in Wild Realms. - Volcano points are technically transformed into support polygons for web visualization.
Changes Applied by Mind the Journey
For platform use, original data may be transformed through:
- geographic format conversion;
- geometry simplification for web performance;
- internal thematic regrouping (realms/biomes) for WR rendering;
- integration with filters and editorial content.
When these transformations are applied, we keep the original source and its license attribution.
2D map

- OpenStreetMap data is available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Attribution is also shown on the map.
Boundaries and subdivisions
- Country boundaries and many subdivisions: Natural Earth, public domain.

- The dataset is derived from R. E. Asher and C. J. Moseley (eds.), Atlas of the World's Languages, 2nd edn, Routledge, 2007.
- Mind the Journey clipped the areas by country and grouped them into cultural zones.
